The visual arts are certainly encouraged too, with the children undertaking two hours each fortnight with Mr. P. our visiting arts teacher.

Other teacher specialists visiting our school include Japanese and Library.

For those that care about such things Zeerust students perform amazingly well in the annual test of literacy and numeracy (NAPLAN) and many of our senior students are well ahead of the curve. We tend to worry about where kids are at rather than what grade they are in.

Our small enrolment (11 in 2024) means no one is missed. Being smaller, means every student has opportunities to participate in the whole life of the school, not just the big kids.

We are worth the drive, and our atudents come from as far and wide as Mooroopna, Shepparton, Wungnhu as well as locally.
