I write this as we enter our third week of Term 2. It is cubby season and whatever I had in the burn pile has been recycled by the children and we now have humpies out the back of the school. Some even have flooring made from ruined books.
The next challenge on the horizon is the NAPLAN and as is our usual practice all the grade 1-6s will be doing the test however, only the grade 3 and 5's are sent away for assessment. The children appear remarkably relaxed about the exam and so they should be. It is only a snapshot in time.
